During World War II Prague avoided the horrors of aerial bombardment. The city attracts visitors, like me, because it is a moment in time. Even as the city streets fill with visitors, it is a safe and rewarding experience. A precious place, I felt like a group appreciation for this place less touched by the ugliness of war.
